Consider the changes we have made to the standard locator model.

1. Rechargeable battery with cigarette or wall recharger. Think about it. First, you save on 8 D batteries every time the locator gets run down. Second, you are never more than a car power outlet or wall plate from a fresh charge. Your crews will be doing more locating and less shopping.

2. 20% more transmitter power. Who does not like more power? Got a long run or dry conditions? Bump up the power and keep going. Do not let weaker locators make you walk back to the transmitter and relocate.

3. Triple AC noise filters (99% of interference on a locate). This is sooooooo nice. Imagine your under high power lines and all you hear is buzz-buzz-buzz instead of beep-beep-beep. That is interference. That is what we eliminate 99% of. No buzz, just beep.

4. Wireless broadcast mode for transmitter. We get more questions on what this is. In practice, it means you can put the Pro800 transmitter on the ground without connecting to a cable and still send the tracing signal into the cable inductively. Voila, wireless tracing. Works great for identifying telephone and CATV cables.

In addition, we also now offer null or peak reception in our brand new designed wand.
